Putting roots down

I dug a hole and put a new tree at the farm.  While digging, I kept hitting something metal.  When the metal came to the surface it was a horseshoe!  So the new red delicious apple tree has been named - Lucky.  You are all welcome to have an apple - eventually.  But that means you have to visit, so plan on it!

I watered all of the other new plantings and moved the tree frog from the door.  I almost forgot about him and he was VERY happy where he was.  But with a little encouragement, he hopped away.  I have no doubt that he will be in his usual spot when I head down later this week.  He thinks he has a grand view!
