I'll see what people still check this Blog Spot. I am way over due in checking in and sharing some life-on-the-farm memories.
Easter is this weekend, and Donnie and I will head to the farm after Church. I have some leftover prime rib and will probably add some asparagus and we will call it Easter Dinner.
There will be fishing, and puzzling (if I can find a puzzle under 501 pieces) and a good nap on the agenda.
I find myself taking for granted the peace that abides at the farm. We've had a couple weeks of some sad news and now more than ever we need the farm. I believe it needs us too. It is a give and take process. The farm needs to feel our footsteps and we need to ground our lives again.
We are planning our 3rd Grandkids at Grand View in August. Everyone is excited! I will have to put my thinking cap on for a special activity to make those special memories, but if I don't find one, we will all remember. The smells and the sunsets. The sunrises and the bon fires.
And Grand View is usually available if you need some grounding time. Life looks brighter from the deck on the house or the front porch swing. It is a grand view.
