Freedom Weekend

As you can see, things are looking up at the farm. The remote control fan is gone and replaced by a lovely, remote less model that works perfectly. Thank you Donnie and Steve!

We had another grand weekend at the farm. There was no schedule, except that we make it to the flight breakfast on the 4th. We did, so the weekend was pretty free. There were lots of good friends to visit with and hugs all around.

We had an all-American fare of ribs, chex mix, watermelon, lemonade, apple pie, fried chicken, bon fires, brats, and homemade ice cream. The farm holds many good things, all you have to do is be there.

Donnie and Steve fished, Sharon and I read and all of us napped. Sitting under the cedar trees and sipping on something cool, we all decided it was a perfect way to celebrate the 4th.

We got to spend part of our weekend with Jake and Emily, which is always a treat. We had homemade ice cream with them too. And also some great time under the tree. Although the garage sales were few, Donnie found some great deals!

The time seems to disappear when we're with family and friends. Making memories is great! Thanks to everyone for being a part of them.
