Delightful! Splendid! Almost Mary Poppins like! That was what Sunday was like. You would never have guessed it was only 8 days until November 1st. We were fishing in light jackets and catching fish. Donnie hooked at 5+ pound bass. She was beautiful. Steve caught a nice one too. Sharon and I accommodated the men and kept our catch small. But the fun is in the fishing. The bonus is catching.
Steve and Sharon Lewis joined us for the afternoon. We taught them how to play cribbage. We are at a tie - 3 games for each of us. So there will be a rematch. And we didn't go hungry - German apple cake, peach cream pie, chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter chocolate bugles. (you have to try them!)
We finished the day with a trip to M.C. Grille and wished we could stay another day. We just played the whole time and it was grand.
