Farm at rest

Well, it has been a while since I ventured to the farm. The holidays seem to keep me home, but Donnie has made his regular visits. As you can see from the pictures, the farm is white and resting. And there is something about the snow that makes everything quieter. It was great.

Donnie did some snow scooping, some ice fishing, and worked on the NEW puzzle I got for Christmas. It's a great puzzle (as you can see) and makes you really pay attention to detail. Unlike most puzzles, this one was easier to start with the "house" piece and work out. We'll see how that goes!!

The pond yielded to Donnie's fishing prowess and we have a mess of blue gill to eat. I'm just not sure when we can do that - the week is full. Thank heaven for freezers!

As we left yesterday, I felt like we were being pushed a little. I think the farm was still wanting to rest. The snow was covering up our visit and at the same time telling us to come back again - but to keep quiet for a little while longer.

(There are more pictures on my Picasa album).
