Four bushes, 30+ plants, and 50 lbs. of top soil later (not to mention bruises and aching muscles) the farm is one step closer to being not so demanding. Dad and I had a good day digging, weeding, planting and greeting a new kitten that found its way back to the farm after a year of traveling. We're anxious to show all of you the fruits of our labor. We still have fence to make and tear out, but we are getting closer! Enjoy the pictures.

P.S. I saw no geese in the nest on the goose island. Was my rescue as wasted effort?:)
